We are located at Skills Village on Frere Road, in Bezuidenhout Valley, Johannesburg. Skills Village is a part of the Makers Valley community, emerging as ‘Jozi’s heart of social and creative enterprise” where there is a the growing presence of creative entrepreneurism, artists, cultural practitioners, makers, designers, and organizations – including Skills Village - that live and work in the valley, contributing to the various activities and change-making initiatives that take place.
While the valley reflects a tapestry of socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions, we acknowledge the challenges faced by its residents, particularly the youth, in finding employment. However, these obstacles are met with pockets of captivating formal and informal business development
We have already successfully implemented our program and constructed the necessary facilities without any external funding, effectively demonstrating its feasibility.
